“I've combined my modern rockers and foils with my old 81 templates, curves that I used when thrusters first hit the scene after Simon's Bells victory at Bells Beach in 1981. Bell's Beach was a solid 15 'and Simon unleashed on a wide tailed square that had everyone dumfounded. Those early plan shapes went in any wave conditions and that year in 1981 we couldn't keep up with the demand for shaping new thrusters it was bullshit. So I thought I would try my old curves on modern rockers. In short they rip and everyone's stoked including me. You have got to try one. Ed.”
